New Made Item: This is the sling used on the legendary Springfield Rifle made famous as the standard rifle of the U.S. Military in WWI. Many of this type of sling were also reissued in WW2 for use on the M1 Garand rifle.
This very high quality genuine leather rifle sling comes complete with heavy stitching, adjustment holes and correct WWI pattern brass hooks (aka claws).
Width of sling is 1.25 inches. Maximum length as a sling is 46 inches. Typically shorter when used on a Springfield or Garand rifle.
