  • Open bag and remove oxygen absorber.
  • Add 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
  • Stir, reseal, let sit for 10 minutes or more.

  Fuel Cache started conceptually when our family sold their restaurant, Country Grill. We began freeze drying for personal use, and as time went on, there was growing interest in ‘Mom’s’ freeze dried meals. With the growing demand, we determined that selling meals commercially as a business became feasible. After two years of hard work and research, the business came to fruition and Fuel Cache Inc. was born!

  Concept to bag, we add a personal touch to our meals. From minimizing industrial processes to leveraging multiple decades of cooking experience, we try our best to create a meal tasting as it would coming straight from the home kitchen. It makes a difference.

• Why do you only ship to Alberta addresses?
  Due to our facility's remote location, the federal inspectors would need to travel approximately 600km to inspect our facility. To meet federal regulations, these inspections would need to take place every two days, which the federal inspectors determined was not feasible.
  
  
• How long do your freeze-dried meal last?
  We guarantee freshness for five years. However, theoretically, with proper storage conditions freeze-dried meals can last for 25+ years.
  
  If the bag is damaged, it might leak air into the bag which will foul the contents. Always practice the smell test on any freeze-dried food. If the food smells fine after opening the bag, rehydrate the contents and do another smell test.
