RCBS 3-Die Carbide Taper Crimp Set - Group B - Popular Pistol Cartridges

RCBS pioneered and developed 3-Die Sets for straight-wall rifle and pistol cases. The Carbide Sizer Die sizes the case and de-primes (the carbide sizer ring eliminates the need to lubricate). The Expander Die expands the case to the proper diameter to accept the bullet, and it imparts case mouth flare/bell for bullet feeding. The Seater Die seats the bullet and taper crimps.

FEATURES

• CARBIDE SIZING DIE
  This die set comes with a carbide sizer die that's been beautifully polished to size your brass with minimal friction to reduce fatigue during sizing and to leave a smooth finish on your brass to aid in feeding and extraction reliability in your pistol. It also comes with a decapping stem assembly to knock out the toughest spent primers and the pin is replaceable.
  
  
• STEPPED EXPANDER DIE
  Straight-wall cases require a separate die for expanding the case to receive a bullet. These dies include RCBS's Stepped Expander Die to expand the very top of the case mouth for ease of bullet seating.
  
  
• SEATING DIE & PLUGS
  This 3-die set comes with a seating die and seater plug(s) for round nose and wadcutter bullets.
  
  
• SEATER DIE - TAPER CRIMPING
  The Seater Die in this die set has the taper crimp feature. This puts a perfect taper crimp on your loaded rounds to aid in prevention of bullet set-back during feeding when it hits the feed ramp, and it also creates a smoother transition out of the magazine and into the chamber potentially increasing feeding reliability.
