I have 2 of these and really like them

Posted by Owen on 2026 Oct 21st

I got one in 357 and the other in 44. The look and weight of them are great and I have not had any issues with them. I really like the pic rail down the barrel because it give the larger red dot space for me to see the target much better. I have heard stories about having to break them in but that wasn’t bad at all. The 357 is less to run and shoots just as hope with 38. The 44 is more the project rifle where CSC helped me outfit it with all the Ranger Point Precision hardware and it looks awesome. (I have people come over to look at it while i am at the range all the time). From a bang for buck perspective I have come to believe Rossi is the leader and have never had any issues with these two R92’s or the R95 30-30 I have.

I have yet to fire the rifle, but first impressions regarding fit and finish our as expected. I find that the safety is far too small and should be twice the size with the red dot a lot larger

I I am an older shooter with large hands, and find the safety to be too small to be easily used. Needs to be larger, with a larger red dot. Thanks. Larry
