The Alpine™ ST is built on Weatherby®’s newest bolt-action rifle platform, the Model 307™. Meant to complement the historic Mark V® and Vanguard® lineups, the Model 307 action is a 2-lug, fully cylindrical action compatible with many aftermarket accessories. Model 307 is designed to accommodate the vast offerings of stocks, triggers, rails, and mounts that exist in today’s marketplace. Weatherby teamed up with PEAK 44 to produce an ultra-light rifle that can own the range and dominate in the field. The PEAK 44 Bastion stock weighs in at 24 ounces and uses a proprietary 3D-Hex recoil pad to reduce the effects of recoil. The lightweight, spiral fluted barrel delivers unmatched accuracy and comes with Weatherby’s recoil-reducing Accubrake ST.

Through years of innovation and testing, the Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly, allowing hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The bolt is spiral-fluted and the handle skeletonized to reduce weight. The Alpine ST comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger for crisp and consistent trigger pulls.

Weighing in at just 24 ounces, the Peak 44™ Bastion stock is the lightest production, vertical grip carbon fiber stock on the market. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting. The forend features dual sling studs to allow the shooter multiple options when deciding on accessories. This upgraded stock allows shooters to comfortably and accurately shoot from all positions at the range and in the field.

The steel barrel is spiral-fluted to reduce weight, increase rigidity, and add surface area to help cool the barrel faster than traditional barrels. The Alpine ST comes with the recoil-reducing Accubrake ST. All Weatherby rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot SUB-MOA group at 100 yards with factory-loaded ammunition.

The receiver, barrel, bolt, and bottom metal are coated in a durable Cerakote to help reduce corrosion even in the harshest of conditions.

Available in standard short and long actions, the Alpine ST not only offers some of Weatherby’s historic magnum cartridges but is also available in some of the most popular cartridges on the market.
