Beretta is considered the largest barrel maker in the world. No one dedicates more time to selecting barrel steel. Steelium technology is a unique manufacturing process that transforms the special tri-alloy steel into an exceptional barrel. Along with deep drilling, cold hammer forging and special vacuum distension, Steelium creates the ideal characteristics for the best ballistic performance, available today. Steelium Pro marries the benefits of the Steelium Technology to a new barrel internal profile. The result is a creation of a progressive conicity that allows the DT11 to fix new performance standards. The progressive Optimachoke® tubes have a new internal profile, formed to enhance shot concentration and distribution.
A NEW LOOK
The receiver, slender and elegant, though robust, is embellished by the contrast between the mat parts (side walls) and the mirror polished ribbon borders that adorn the surface. The blue Beretta logo stands out with pride along with: A new top rib Newly designed bridges are internally hollowed, while the side ribs are windowed to im prove barrel balance and help dissipate the heat generated with constant shooting. A new safety/selector switch The shape of the safety/selector switch has been redesigned for better grip and operation. THE SHOOTER IS OUR TARGET….
Not a play on words, but rather Beretta philosophy: Creating product with the shooter in mind, they make the podium, thanks to attention to detail. New adjustable trigger Designed for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The trigger can be easily adjusted and finely tuned into position. The prominent “DT” removable trigger group Removal of trigger group occurs in three distinct steps and the detachment is possible only when the shotgun is safely broken open.

The specific point of impact has been carefully considered in designing the DT11. While the models for Trap, Skeet and Sporting have a common central point of impact, the models designed for American Trap are characterized by a high point of impact. The mass is correctly distributed to allow the shotgun to have a mass center coaxial with the bottom barrel, eliminating muzzle raise and affording faster target acquisition on the second shot. The “V” shape mainsprings assure lightning-fast lock times and ultra crisp trigger pulls.
BERETTA MICRO-CORE RECOIL PAD
Micro-Core is an innovative recoil pad conceived by Beretta from decades of experience on the competition fields around the world. The open cell techno-polymer is softer, lighter and slipperier than rubber. Micro-Core expands gradually and instantly, increasing its surface area on the shoulder and giving the shotgun secure and precise support.
DT11: MORE THAN A COMPETITION SHOTGUN
The DT11 is treated as a Premium Grade shotgun during all phases of production. A focus on detail and the coupling of all components, primary (receiver, barrel, fore-end iron) and secondary (trigger group, top lever) make each shotgun unique, giving the shooter an instrument that has been personally tested and perfected by the master gunsmiths of the world’s oldest firearms manufacturer.
HIGHLY SELECT WOODS
High quality walnut is hand finished according to the shooter’s choice (oil, Tru Oil or wax finishing). The stock and fore-end can be fitted to each customer’s measurements. The pistol grip and the fore-end are hand-checkered to both ensure a solid grip and to complement the overall design of the shogun.
