The Brownells Enhanced Safety Button is a direct replacement for the fac- tory button that features all-metal construction for durability and a higher profile for improved handling characteristics. The unique raised pad allows the user to easily manipulate the safety under all conditions, even while wearing gloves. The button is reversible and allows the user to position the button in the manner they find most comfortable. Placing the raised pad toward the rear will make the safety easier to reach for people with short thumbs, while those with longer thumbs may prefer the pad located farther forward. The prominent thumb pad provides much needed traction for the user and adds a very positive feel to the safety operation, thus insuring that when the operator goes to put the gun "on safe," it does so each and every time.
