The Burris XTR II™ is our top of the line tactical scope family. They are designed for pinpoint accuracy at long distances. Features like the 5x Zoom System and Zero Click Stop Adjustment Knobs—among many more—allow for an epic level of shot control at distances mere mortals only dream of covering accurately.

Life in the 1,000 Yard Plus Realm
The difference betwen success and failure grows exponentially with every foot. Your equipment must be up to the job.

Punching Out of its Weight Class
The XTR II is being used in long range competitions everywhere, competing well with scopes costing 3 times as much.

XT-100=100 clicks
XTR II turrets use a 100-click rotation. That's 10 mils, or 25 MOA in one rotation. Enough to get competition cartridges out past 1000 yards.

Burris Forever Warranty
Lifetime. No paperwork needed. Pass it along to your kids. That's how the warranty works.

Zero Lock
The XTR II turrets are easily adjusted back to the exact zero point, and they will always stop there. No counting clicks to get back home.

5X Zoom
The 5x zoom system creates a large field of view, and then zooms in for high definition detail.

Special Competition
The SCR (Special Competition Reticle) was designed by competitive shooters, and works perfectly in tandem with the XTR II features.

Quality by Design
Like every Burris riflescope, the XTR II is waterproof, fogproof, nitrogen filled, and shockproof. It's tested to always stand up to even .50 cal recoil.

  • Designed for serious, technical, long-range precision rifle shooters—both tactical and competitive.
  • Front focal plane reticle design allows the reticle size to increase or decrease as magnification is increased or decreased; trajectory compensation is always correct and proportional for the selected power setting; also called first focal plane or FFP.
  • Ergonomic side focus and easy-to-reach parallax adjustment from 50 yds. to infinity, for improved accuracy at long distances.
  • 34 mm body tube.
  • Excellent resolution optics and tactical-appropriate reticles and adjustment knobs make it easier to identify targets and adjust for windage and elevation.
  • Versatile 5-times zoom system allows for a larger field of view at close ranges and better target acquisition at long ranges.
  • Zero Click Stop adjustment knobs let you quickly and easily revert back to the original yardage setting without counting clicks.
  • Advanced windage and elevation adjustments are fast and easy; accurate and repeatable reticle adjustments match the measurement system of the reticle.
  • High-grade optical glass provides excellent brightness and clarity with lasting durability.
  • Index-matched Hi-Lume® multicoating aids in low-light performance and glare elimination, increasing your success rate.
  • Illuminated reticle reduces time to get on target in any lighting condition and dramatically increases accuracy when target is dark.
  • 11 brightness settings (spanning night vision, low light, and daytime), with a convenient battery-saver position between each setting.
  • Triple internal spring-tension system allows the scope to hold zero through shock, recoil, and vibrations.
  • Waterproof.
  • Nitrogen-filled body tubes prevent internal fogging in the cold and rain.
  • Precision-gauged and hand-fitted internal assemblies maintain a consistent point of impact through the magnification range, regardless of shock and vibration.
  • Solid, 1-piece outer tube is stress-free and durable; withstands shock and vibration from even the heaviest-recoiling calibers.
  • Covered by the Burris Forever Warranty™.

SCR Mil Reticle
The SCR™ Mil reticle is ideal for precision competition use. With its extended illumination area, you can engage targets at long distances even in low light.

  • 1/2-mil holdover lines.
  • 2/10-mil and 1-mil windage hold-off lines for precision.
  • 1/10-mil ranging brackets on the crosshairs, at the top, left, and right extremes.
  • Mil-based, proprietary Burris design.
  • SCR stands for special competition reticle.
  • Extended center illumination area lets you engage targets at long distances in low light and shadows.
  • Front focal plane design means trajectory compensation and wind hold-off references are accurate at any magnification.
  • Increases speed and precision for wind hold-off and for range estimation and impact measurement.

SCR MOA Reticle
The SCR™ MOA reticle increases precision for long-range competition, and is now in use on several Burris riflescopes and spotting scopes in both illuminated and non-illuminated models. In illuminated models the extended illuminated center area lets you confidently engage targets in low light and shadows. In non-illuminated models, the fine details are sharp enough for close in focus in virtually all lighting conditions.

  • MOA-based, proprietary Burris design increases precision for long-range competition without adding clutter or distraction.
  • Design increases speed and precision for wind hold-off, range estimation, and impact measurement.
  • 1-MOA holdover lines.
  • 1/2-MOA and 1-MOA windage hold-off lines for precision.
  • 1/4-MOA ranging brackets on the crosshairs, at the top, left, and right extremes.
  • Proprietary reticle.
  • Extended illumination area lets you engage targets at long distance even in low light (Veracity scope is not illuminated).
  • SCR stands for special competition reticle.
  • Front focal plane design means trajectory compensation and wind hold-off references are accurate at any magnification.

You do get what you pay for, and for the price I paid, this is a very good scope.

I purchased this scope for a custom-built 308 Precision Rifle. Looking forward to a few years of getting better at long distance shooting.
