When custom knifemaker Princeton Wong’s wine-enthusiast friend asked if he could design a pocket knife with a corkscrew, Princeton — never one to back down from a technical problem-solving challenge — couldn’t say no. The result was the Fion custom, a mechanically elegant folding knife that concealed a corkscrew and boot lever within its handle. It was Princeton’s first entry into Blade Show and it earned him the Best New Maker award. Now, the spirit of the Fion has been reborn in the Fial™, which carries over all of its innovations and functionality. Marvel at how the boot lever nearly invisibly aligns with the contours of the lightweight titanium handle, and easily slice through charcuterie with the powerful M390 blade.
