JTAC Industries Screech Owl 1500 Chassis for Howa 1500 SA, Carbon Grey Cerakote: 10.5" Handguard, Telescopic Stock

The Screech Owl 1500 Chassis system is an affordable, light weight and modular bolt action rifle chassis currently available for the Howa 1500 Short Action. This Howa 1500 chassis is an excellent platform for building compact truck guns, portable hunting rifles or precision rifles, and long-range capable bolt action pistols.

Screech Owl 1500 Chassis Core:

• Compatible with actions that use the Howa 1500 Short Action footprint
• Flared mag well designed to accept Magpul PMAG AICS Short Action magazines (Other magazines may or may not seat properly)
• Ambidextrous mag release
• Accepts any AR-15 pistol grip without an integrated dovetail (Not included)
• Large trigger guard for gloved operation
• Machined from a single block of billet aluminum
• Modular stock and brace adapter system that provides simple single bolt interchangeability of different stock and pistol braces.
• Comes coated standard in Carbon Gray Cerakote Elite
• Weighs approximately 1.8lbs with 7.5″ rail and rear cover block installed

• Minimum barrel length (when measured from bolt face to muzzle) for each handguard on the Screech Owl 1500
• Chassis is 1.75″ longer then the handguard. This length will allow the full muzzle threads to clear the handguard with a little room to spare. For example a 10.5″ Handguard is compatible with a minimum barrel length of 12.25″. These requirements can vary by chassis model.
