The Material used to create the extended mag release is Delrin Acetal, which has Excellent Tensile and Impact Strength. We chose this material because it was less likely to wear out your polymer magazines. We would have been happy to machine this part out of aluminum, but due to the polymer magazine material constraints we had to get creative.
Another major benefit to using Delrin Acetal is that it has a natural Impregnated Lubricity that will allow smoother magazine changes in comparison to the cheap factory injection molded plastic. Excellent textured serrated grip on the mag release button and rounded corners to avoid snagging and sharpness. Works perfectly on the KelTec SUB2000.

You can switch from magazine to magazine with any of the options listed above by switching out the Steel Mag Catch on your New Universal Extended Magazine Release. KelTec is constantly adding to the list of Universal Magazine Options for the Multi-Mag Version of the SUB2000. The New Extended Magazine Release will be compatible with all of them since we designed them to fit and function with the KelTec Steel Mag Catches.
