    Was skeptical at first, but I gotta say right out of the box this thing was buttery smooth. I've used many lever guns over the years and on constant is the loading gate is always very stiff when the gun is new. On this S&W it was very smooth. Gun cycles nice and fit and finish is fantastic. Very impressed. I'm considering getting ones in 30-30 and .357mag.
