What's new about the Gen 2? Everything. Like its predecessor, the PRM Gen2 is a 2 point QD forward sling mount for any weapon equipped with a 1913 picatinny rail but with a number of enhancements that improve its durability, compatibility, and overall performance for the most demanding professional shooters.

Stainless steel connection. The Gen2 features our signature stainless steel quick detach (non rotation limited) socket; the only one on the market, providing unbelievable durability, corrosion resistance, and unmatched product longevity. We even melonite the mounting screw, which also has a nylok patch on the threads to prevent the screw from backing out over time. The PRM Gen2 installs in seconds, without weapon disassembly or alteration, and is compatible with all known QD swivel connectors and rails. It is the most robust QD rail sling mount you will ever find.

Sleek new design. With the PRM Gen2, we set out to incorporate all the positives of the Gen1 into the new and lighter, sleeker design of the Gen2. The result? The external geometry of the PRM Gen2 was updated with an improved low drag profile making it shorter, lighter, and more comfortable to use. The new design is only 0.45 inch tall (mounted height), features a thumb rest, and fits as close as possible to the rail / hand guard with snag free handling, allowing you to drive your weapon as needed.

Light and tight. The Gen2 incorporates new material technology and manufacturing processes that have been engineered to exceed rigorous military performance specifications. Made from stainless steel, 6061 T6 aluminum and a highly reinforced impact resistant polymer, the PRM Gen2 Sling Mount is virtually indestructible, 25% lighter, and has been proven to withstand stress tests of over 350 pounds yet weighs half an ounce.

Durable, non reflective matte finish. The PRM Gen2 is made with infrared reduction impregnated material and has no infrared signature. Available in a variety of colors (depending on inventory levels): black, flat dark earth (H267), OD green (H232Q), foliage green (H231), Titanium (H170Q), RAL8000 (H8000Q), and pink (H141Q). 100% made in the USA and Berry Compliant.
