Volquartsen VF-9 Lightweight Barrel with Forward Blow Comp for 22 Charger: 22 LR, 9.0"

The Volquartsen VF-9 barrel is the perfect length for the 8" Midwest Industries chassis. The barrel is well-made, good fit and finish, and looks spectacular with its carbon fiber sleeve, but more importantly, it shoot straight. The barrel was also packed very well in foam, so it'll definitely arrive in pristine condition. The accuracy is excellent; the bullets go exactly where I want them to. I have had no issues at 25 or 50 yards, though I have been having so much fun plinking at short range that I haven't felt the need to push it to longer distances yet. Installation was straightforward, as the barrel fit my factory Ruger receiver easily. No significant fitting was required, aside from using a little heat to seat it. The included compensator is a nice touch, though mine did come loose during use. I recommend tightening it down firmly or applying a bit of Loctite to keep it secure.
