Winchester Commemorative Model 94 NRA Centennial Musket: 30-30 Win, 26" Barrel, Ser# NRA7013

A century of dedicated service to the American rifleman marked the 1971 celebration for the 100th anniversary of the National Rifle Association. This dedicated organization has led the way in shooting sports for both adults and young people.

In double tribute to the NRA and all American riflemen, Winchester issued two NRA Centennial Commemorative firearms as limited edition models during 1971, the NRA Commemorative Musket and Rifle.

The Winchester NRA Centennial Model 94 Musket is patterned after the original Winchester Model 1895 NRA Musket, a military-style lever action firearm design to meet requirements for match competition, shooting under NRA rules, at the turn of the century.

The musket has a full length forearm and straight grip stock of satin-finished American walnut. The round barrel carries the engraved inscription “NRA Centennial Musket”. The sights are blade front and calibrated folding leaf rear.

The black chromed receiver is engraved on the left side of the letters “NRA“ flanked by the dates “1871“ and “1971“. The right side features two additional scroll work patterns. The upper tang is engraved with “Model 1894 Winchester”.

The NRA seal, struck on a special silver-colored medallion, is embedded in the right side of the buttstock.

The serial number, with the prefix “NRA”, is located on the front underside of the receiver. 23,400 were produced at New Haven.
