Built specifically for rimfire hunters and plinkers, the ZEISS V3 2.5-8x35 RF (rimfire) brings ZEISS optical quality to the world of small-bore. With a fixed parallax setting at 50-yards and a rugged build, this 1-inch main tube scope is engineered to handle the rigors of hunting and high volume of rimfire shooting. It’s just 10.74 inches in length and 12.6 oz in weight.

Rimfire shooting has unique demands. It can include high cycle counts that are repeatedly expected to impact on intended targets with exceptional precision and accuracy - typically over shorter distances. The V3 2.5-8x35 RF is engineered specifically for this routine in the field. It has been shock-tested over 800 cycles at 800 g-force and finalized with multiple shock tests at 1,200 g-force and calibrated with a fixed parallax setting at 50-yards – the natural sweet spot for most rimfire shooting. The result is a scope that effortlessly holds zero and allows for pinpoint precision.

Compact with 1-Inch Main Tube

The 2.5-8x35 RF is among the lightest and most compact configurations within the entire V3 family. The 1-inch main tube offers ample mounting space and easily fits standard rings without adding visual or physical bulk to lightweight rifles. The 35 mm objective keeps the front end slim and easy to fit atop a multitude of barrel dimensions. The result is a well-balanced and near perfect rimfire setup that fully complements the rifle.

  Metal-on-metal turret construction with 0.25 MOA per click and 10 MOA per rotation delivers crisp, repeatable adjustments you can feel – even while wearing gloves.

  The rimfire model was shock-tested at 800 g-force with multiple finalization shocks at 1,200 g-force. All models were tested for waterproof integrity when submerged at 3 feet for 1 hour. The scopes are nitrogen-purged and rated for operation from -4 °F to +122 °F.

The XRR (eXtended Range Reticle) #84 offers the perfect balance between classic hunting and extended-range hunting. Many hunters prefer the XRR for their all-around preferred reticle choice. When the scope is set to its maximum magnification setting the MOA (minute of angle) hash marks located on the vertical axis of the reticle are to reference 2, 4, 8 and 12 MOA below center, providing precise MOA-based holdover values. The lateral hash marks at 2 and 4 MOA are extremely useful for wind correction holds and are positioned in the field of view for maximum effectiveness and minimum distraction. The reticle is visually complemented with a heavy bar thickness of 1.00 MOA framing and a 24.00 MOA opening for fast target acquisition.
