The BLR is one of the earliest Browning rifles with a fully detachable magazine. It clearly broke the mold when it departed from a tubular magazine design. These are quality spare magazines made to the exact specifications as the one provided with your rifle.

the .243 mag Functions flawlessly in the .308 rifle
I couldn't find a spare .308 mag in stock anywhere, and decided to try the .243 mag thinking it should function the exact same even though Browning has separate mags listed for each rifle. I can now confirm that both the .243 mag and the .308 mag function just as flawlessly in the .308 BLR rifle.
