Calgary Shooting Centre is pleased to offer this complete plate carrier assembly from Gear Dynamics. It is ready to use and includes the front and rear plate bags, Shoulder Pads, and Advanced QR Cummerbund in the color or pattern of your choice!
Gear Dynamics Plate Carrier
The Gear Dynamics Plate Carrier has been designed from the ground up with modularity in mind. The Plate Carrier Base consists of a front and rear plate pocket, joined by 2” adjustable shoulder straps. The front plate pocket features a laser-cut chest panel with vertical mounting points for various direct mounted chest rigs and placards, as well as a small PALS grid for mounting admin accessories. The rear plate pocket features a full PALS covered exterior that culminates in a flap at the bottom to cover your cummerbund attachment. Both front and rear plate pockets have body facing panels made with 500D Cordura with integrated Durastretch for optimal plate fitment. ID/IFF loop is standard on the front and back. The plate pockets are sized for Medium SAPI cut plates but will accommodate many other armour cuts. Size adjustment range is 40”-48”, measured at the chest.
Gear Dynamics Advanced QR Cummerbund
The Advanced QR Cummerbund is made with state of the art materials in order to provide the best platform for carrying your equipment. It is constructed of two layers of laser cut Cordura laminate, giving the user the option to mount pouches to the front, back or both sides. It features a thermo-plastic stiffener in the top 3” to add rigidity and help prevent sagging. Both ends attach to the carrier with hook and loop, and there are two layers of 4” elastic to allow the cummerbund to expand and contract with your breathing. Last but not least, Gear Dynamics has incorporated First Spear’s Tubes buckles to allow the user a quick release function. Each cummerbund side is approx. 22.5” long.
Gear Dynamics Shoulder Pads
The Plate Carrier Shoulder Pads are constructed of 500D Cordura and 1/4" closed cell foam. They are 2.5" wide by 7.5" long and feature a laser-cut wrap-around sleeve that is secured with hook and loop. The sleeve is approximately 6" long and designed to wrap around straps that are 2" wide. On the inside, top of the pad, there is a strip of mil-spec hook, which can be used to further secure the pads to any shoulder straps with downward facing loop. On the outward facing sides there are laser cut slots for inserting comms management loops (Not Included - contact us for details).
