Anything is better than factory plastic! If you're upgrading parts in your PC Carbine like I was and upgrades include a proper buffer pad and recoil spring, this is definitely worth upgrading as well.

Highly recommend this Stainless Steel Spring Retainer for your PC9. So much nicer than the plastic one the rifle comes with. Easy to install and peace of mind knowing I have metal holding the spring, not plastic.
