Solvent and oil wipe right off. It is chemical resistant meaning oil will not soak through. 7 compartments built into the gun mat keeps screws, springs and other small parts sorted when working on your gun. The 4 part magnetic pad on the right top side of the mat is great for placing components disassembled from the gun. Plenty of room to hold a full size 9mm. It has tabs to hang the mat up when not in use. It can be used for many things, replacing metal watch bands, doing knife maintenance, or doing maintenance on your pistols. The mat comes in a zippered pouch.
